Two weeks ago they were untouchable and believed to have an unassailable lead.
Now, after 2 defeats in a row,Manchester is in serious danger of letting it slipping away. Honestly i initially thought that the Liverpool defeat is a one off. Tonight's defeat by Fulham is a harder pill to swallow because to me, Fergie got it wrong in his team selection.
By not playing Rooney and Carrick left the team with little bundle of energy and thinking that the old guards especially Scholes can save the day was a serious oversight. Well as a fan of course we have the benefit of hindsight ........come on the 2nd half was a better display with Rooney on the pitch. Now how will United react to this lean spell? They are still though in the running on all fronts and must not panic because i always believe in the timeless adage.....Form is temporary but Class is permanent.
Again the premier league showcase the beauty of football...as unpredictable as it comes and every fan is always hopeful that comes May their favourite team will either win the championship or avoid relegation.
